At Next Step Benefits, we help employees make informed decisions through education, enrollment support, and year-round access to a real person who can answer their questions. From open enrollment to life's unexpected changes, we're here to help employees navigate their options and get the most value from their benefits.
Because educated employees make better benefits decisions, experience less financial stress, and better appreciate the benefits you provide.
Employees receive easy-to-understand information before enrollment begins, giving them time to review their options and prepare questions before making a decision.
In person or virtual, scheduled around your workforce. We explain what changed, what each plan covers, what it costs per paycheck, and how to use the benefits being offered.
Employees with individual questions can talk with us privately about their situation, benefit options, costs, and coverage considerations.
Enrollment ends. The questions do not. Employees can reach our team throughout the year when they need help understanding or using their benefits.
An employee who does not understand their plan will pick the wrong one, skip care they have already paid for, or call HR every time something goes wrong. None of that shows up on a rate sheet, but all of it costs you.
We treat education as part of the job, not as an add-on.
Employees get materials before enrollment opens, in plain language, so they are not making a decision on the spot.
In person or virtual, scheduled around your shifts. We walk through what changed, what each plan covers, and what it costs per paycheck.
Employees with a specific situation get a private conversation. Family status, ongoing care, prescriptions, budget.
Enrollment ends. The questions do not. Employees can reach us directly all year.
Our roots are in Sheboygan County and Eastern Wisconsin, and that is where most of our clients are. We work with employers throughout the state, including manufacturers, professional offices, churches, and nonprofits with 25 to 250 employees.
That is what the Strategy Session is for. We will look at what you have now and tell you where the gaps are.
